  Skilled Nursing     Assisted Living
PRIVATE PAY:  In addition to the daily room charge, private pay residents are responsible for ancillary charges such as medications, treatment supplies, medical supplies, laundry, beauty shop hair permanents and oxygen.

PRIVATE INSURANCE:
Because there are so many different private insurances available, we recommend that you call our Business Office Manager to review your insurance policy to determine your level of coverage at out facility.

MEDICARE PART A:
Following a qualifying three day inpatient stay at a hospital, residents with Medicare Part A coverage may qualify for up to 100 days of coverage at our facility.  The first twenty days of skilled care are paid by Medicare at 100%, then Medicare pays 20% of the next 80 days.  Residents must have a Medicare supplemental insurance to pay the 80% balance for the final 80 days.  Although the maximum coverage is 100 days, residents must be receiving skilled treatments to qualify for 100 days payment.  Our Social Service Director or Business Office Manager can help you determine whether or not a resident's stay with us will be covered by Medicare Part A.

MEDICAID:
Eligibility for Medicaid benefits in our nursing home is determined by the Division of Family Services.  DFS will not only determine if a resident is eligible, they will also determine the amount of private portion, if any, all Medicaid residents must pay to our facility.  Our Social Service Director or Business Office Manager can help you get in touch with our Cedar County Division of Family Services Office.

PRIVATE PAY:  In addition to the daily room charge, private pay residents are responsible for ancillary charges such as medications, treatment supplies, medical supplies, laundry service, beauty shop hair permanents and oxygen.

PRIVATE INSURANCE:  Insurance companies are continually adding Assisted Living to their coverage lines.  Please call our Business Office Manager to review your insurance policy to determine your level of coverage at our facility.
